Imagine enjoying a wonderful golfing holiday, with friends or relatives on the beautiful Costa Del Azahar (Spain’s Orange Blossom Coast). You will stay in our brand new, high quality and fully equipped apartment with private gardens, swimming pool and south-facing balcony that overlooks the 8th fairway of the Panoramica Championship golf course.

Hugely popular with the Spanish, the Costa Del Azahar remains relatively unknown in the rest of Europe. The Apartment (part of ‘Villa Dalia’) and golf course are nestled among fields of Orange and Olive groves only 8 kilometres from the sea and fishing port of Vinaros, where an abundance of beautiful beaches and secluded coves can be found. From the south-facing balcony you can view the Mediterranean sea, the mountains inland or watch the golfers as they play the 8th hole.

The 18 hole Panoramica par 72 Championship course was designed by this year’s European Ryder Cup Captain, Bernhard Langer, with extensive training facilities on offer, making the Panoramica club one of the best equipped in Europe. GETTING HERE

The quickest and cheapest way to get here is to fly to Reus (Salou) airport which is located approximately 30 minutes south of Barcelona. At present, Ryan Air fly twice a day to Reus from London Stansted and from Dublin (new Luton route starts Jan 2005). Very good deals are available at all times of the year.

Alternatively Easyjet fly to Barcelona and Valencia airports from Luton daily with excellent rates.

BMI, Air Scotland, Aer Lingus, Monarch, British Airways and many other major airlines fly from most major UK airports to both Barcelona and Valencia airports daily.

Car Hire for the duration of your stay is recommended with good deals available on arrival at the airport. On arrival at Reus, take the A-7 Motorway south for approximately 45 minutes to the turnoff for Panoramica Golf, which is a further 5-10 minutes drive. A travelpack containing full maps and directions will be provided at time of booking.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation is an apartment on the first floor of ‘Villa Dalia’ offering a raised, fantastic view if the golf course, sea and mountains.

SUN TERRACE
The sun terrace is south-facing, excellent for sun bathing all day and also overlooks the heated swimming pool and gardens.

KITCHEN
Fully fitted with microwave, ceramic hob, oven, extractor, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher.

LOUNGE & DINING AREA
Leading out to the sun terrace, this is fully furnished with sofas, dining table and chairs, satellite TV, DVD and Hi-Fi.

FIRST BEDROOM
Two single beds with en-suite bathroom and walk-in-wardrobe.

SECOND BEDROOM
Two single beds, wardrobe and a view out over the rear of the property looking over the orange groves and surrounding mountains. Shower room and toilet opposite.

HALL AND UTILITY
Large hallway and utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. All windows have heat isolating glass and roller blinds for sun protection.

GARDENS
A major feature is the swimming pool with island, waterfall and children’s pool. There are lawns and garden areas, sun bathing terrace and covered barbecue area. This apartment is directly on the golf course with uninterrupted views. The apartment is fully equipped for your needs and includes all bedding and towels.

The golf course is fully secured from the outside countryside with entry thought a secured manned entrance. The apartment also has private sheltered car parking directly at the entrance to the property.

GOLF & FACILITIES

Panoramica was designed by Bernhard Langer over 10 years ago and has now matured into one of Europe’s finest golf courses. At over 6600 yards off yellow tees and 5500 off red tees this is an excellent par 72 golf course built to Championship specifications. Challenging and attractive with water hazards on 6 holes this is a course you will want to play again and again.

Booking of tee times is required and it is wise to carry a handicap certificate. A plentiful supply of hire clubs and buggies await you if required and the training facilities include two driving ranges, a putting practise area and a par 3 practise course.

The clubhouse provides everything you could want including golf shop, bars, restaurant and changing facilities – all within 10 minutes walk of the apartment.

Further afield there are also 4 other golf courses within easy drive of Panoramica and you will almost certainly want to visit Club Mediterraneo near Castellon - this is another superb course and the home of Sergio Garcia who lives overlooking the course.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN THE AREA

Panoramica is in an ideal geographical location for lovers of sea and the mountains being only a few kilometres from Vinaros, Benicarlo, Peniscola and Morella. There are 120 kilometres of coastline (the Orange Blossom Coast) washed by the waters of the Mediterranean sea. Quiet ‘Blue Flag’ beaches abound where you can enjoy over 300 days of sun each year with an average temperature of 28 degrees in the summer and 18 degrees in the winter – ideal for golfing all year round.

Vinaros is the local fishing port town, bringing in fresh fish every day with King Prawns a local speciality. The ‘Mercato’ is where you can purchase fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and is colourful with a wonderful atmosphere. Restaurants and bars are all along the seafront with excellent shopping in the town centre and plenty of large supermarkets on the road to the golf course.

Benicarlo is also a seafaring town with the Nautical Resort providing a great variety of watersports – including canoeing, sailing, snorkling, diving and water skiing.

Visit Peniscola old town along the coast with walls and fortifications surrounding the white washed houses and Peniscola Castle that housed the controversial 15th century Pope Benedict XIII. Peniscola has 7 kilometres of beautiful beaches with a lively atmosphere and many night spots. It also hosts the Classical Music Season and International Comedy Festival each year.

Morella is the medieval capital city of the region El Ports and is set in the mountains behind Panoramica. This stunning medieval castle and walled town is only 30 miles away – an essential place to visit.

Ulldecona reservoir is an area of great natural beauty, ideal for hill walking and bird watching along with cave paintings at Polvori Cave.

Columbretes Islands can be visited by a sea trip. These volcanic islands are a protected nature reserve but organised visits are available.

Barcelona city is 1½ hours by car or easily accessible by train from Vinaros. A fantastic city that must be visited during your stay.

Valencia is approximately 1¼ hours drive south along the coast. Trains from Vinaros go several times a day making this another ideal day trip.

The Universal Mediterranea theme park ‘Port Aventura’ and ‘Costa Caribe’ water park are only 45 mins drive away or easily accessible by train from Vinaros directly to Port Aventura’s own railway station. This is the only Universal theme park in Europe and is a must for the young at heart. (www.portaventura.es)

Subject to availability we are able to offer some flexibility of duration of stay (minimum stay 3 nights) for weekend visits etc. We also offer discounted rates for long lets.

Terms & Conditions of Property Rent:

Deposit & Payments:
10% deposit payable (non refundable) on booking with balance of 90% payable four (4) weeks prior to arrival. Damage protection deposit of £100 must be paid at this time with the balance due. This refundable deposit will be returned after the apartment has been inspected by Management/agent and no damage or losses have been incurred. If any damages are incurred during the stay these must be paid by the guest and these payments may be deducted but are not limited in amount by the damage deposit.
Occupancy:
The apartment sleeps 4 people. No additional occupants are permitted otherwise the owners reserve the right to terminate the rental immediately and/or withhold the full rental amount and security deposit.
Rental Period:
The apartment is to be rented by the period specified on the booking form. This commences at 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
Insurance:
The owners cannot accept any responsibility and/or liability for loss of, or damage to your belongings or cars, or for personal injury. All guests should have a comprehensive holiday insurance policy.
